ABOUT US:
SAHANUBHUTI is a philanthropic grass root level organization that has been serving the
most marginalized communities, for over 25 years. The organization passionately serve in
three districts of Odisha covering 12 Gram Panchayats under 8 blocks, one Municipality
corporation and one NAC . Since inception, it provides knowledge, resources and opportunities
for the less privileged people for their secured and dignified life.
HISTORY:
A group of likeminded local people promoted the organization and initiated its welfare
activities in the tribal district of Mayurbahanj , Odisha in its early 1988. After registered
under SRA of 1860 in the year 1989-90, it expanded its activities into Kandhamal district of
Odisha where focus was given primarily on health, education and livelihood programme for
the most marginalized communities. Gradually, after registration under FCRA, it has been
implementing more programmes and expanded its area of operation into other districts
and concentrating at present in Kandhamal, Ganjam and Gajapati districts of Odisha,
addressing versatile issues such as health, education, livelihood, women and youth
development, environment, peace building, relief and rehabilitation etc.
