COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAMME:
The organization has started providing computer training to the children of Hostel children as well as outside students. It was a great opportunity for the students of the area to learn the computer as there was no such institution available in the area. There are eight set of computer supported by CHF , Mumbai .
The programme had run from 1st June 2015 till 2018. Each batch 25 students had joined the course, for six months.CHF, Mumbai had supported for maintenance expenses. The school and college students were attending the class every day in morning hour before school and colleges starts. Many students had got benefits of learning the basic computer education course through this programme.
CANDLE MAKING TRAINING TO HOSTEL CHILDREN:
Sahanubhuti had also provided skill development training to elderly children apart from their academic education from 2007 to 2010 on leaf plate making, tailoring training, incense stick making training and candle making training. Three instructors were appointed for three trades respectively. Children were learning in Sunday and holidays. Raw materials and training materials were provided to the children during the training. In 2007-08 , we had received support from Govt. of Orissa under world food programme .It had planned to have the production –cum- training for generating income in order to avoid financial crisis in continuity of their education.
